Born on 18 January 2011, Felicity is the newest and youngest member of MMR.
Her parents, Andrew and Nuala Moraes, are a New Zealand couple who first came to Ranong in April 2009 to spend six months with MMR as short-term volunteers. However, when their time here was up, they found it’s not so easy to just leave behind such an amazing community! Andrew and Nuala returned to Ranong in September 2010, and with the arrival of Felicity, have become the community’s second “Marist Family on Mission”. At almost two months, Felicity is now a firm part of the community, and even goes to school with Mama a couple of times a week – she’s easily the most popular kid in class.
The Moraes family are following in the footsteps of Ronald and Tatha Lida, and their son JP, who have been committed to the MMR community as a Marist Family on Mission for a number of years now.
